We’re looking for DBS-checked people willing to spend time with older people in our care. You could run an activity such as painting or craftwork for a small group, read to someone with poor sight or take someone in a wheelchair out for a stroll.

Volunteer Kitchen Assistant Wanted – Make a Real Difference!
 
Are you friendly, reliable, and looking to make a positive impact in your community?
 
We are looking for a Volunteer Kitchen Assistant to join our warm and welcoming care home.
 
What You’ll Do
  • Help with light food preparation (e.g., sandwiches, vegetables, plating meals)
  • Assist with serving meals to residents
  • Support the kitchen team with washing up and keeping the area tidy
  • Bring joy and companionship to older adults through mealtime interactions
  • Be part of a caring, supportive environment
What We’re Looking For
  • Kind, patient, and approachable individuals
  • Someone who cares about older people and wants to help
  • No experience needed – full guidance provided
  • A willingness to follow basic food hygiene and safety practices
